I. Multiple-choice portion of the final exam covers grammar and vocabulary.

II. Final Oral Interview portion of the exam:


Review the practice final exam questions in order to help you prepare for the oral interview.

III. Essay portion of the final exam:
You will be required to write an essay titled "Mis vacaciones". 
(Use the preterite tense to say what you and others did on your vacation.)
You will be given 30 minutes. You may use no notes, but you may use a dictionary. 
Bring a Spanish-English dictionary to class if you have one in case there are not 
enough dictionaries in class for all of the students. 
Computerized, hand-held translators will not be allowed.
***In order to pass the essay part of the final exam:
-You must demonstrate the use of the preterite tense.
-You must demonstrate correct adjective  agreement and verb conjugations.
***The most impressive essays will:
-be in the form of a paragraph 
-contain a topic sentence
-have the first sentence of the paragraph indented
-contain proper capitalization and punctuation
-be neatly written in blue or black ink
